BRAND new Garnier Fructis -Blow Dry Perfection

So this product is so new i cannot even find it in stores as of yet!! But as soon as do im going to try it!! it retails about $12.99 and is suppose to last up to 7 washes!

So what does it do ??? Well its a smoothing kit! It is suppose to tame frizz and make your hair smooth and shiny.
Two easy steps give you frizz-resistant, silky-smooth hair that's easier and faster to blow dry.
Step 1: 20-Min Smooth-It Serum is formulated with a protein building block, found naturally in hair, to smooth and tame unmanageable hair. Perfect - Step 2: Heat-Activated Perfect-It Cream, with natural rice oil, helps seal in lasting smoothness and conditioning, and helps create a weightless, humidity-resistant barrier to frizz. Style - Experience Smooth Perfection: Blow dry or flat iron as you normally would to reveal sleek, shiny, more manageable hair.

As soon as i can find it i will let you know how it works.

Is this something you would also try???

  3. YES! My hair gets downright nasty in humidity. It's naturally wavy and thick, thick, thick - I need all the help I can get! Thanks for the heads up.

  4. I don't know where you live, but it's in the Walmart flyer this week in Ontario. I was thinking about trying it myself, but I have so much hair that I would probably need to packages, and that's a lot of money for it to not work lol

  5. They have this at WalMart in Nfld for $9.97 and there is a $2 coupon book on the display. Can't find anything about it on the Garnier site though

  6. I want to try it too-can't find it yet. But if you have coarse, curly hair, you should try Keratin's "Shine" product. I have had great success with that helping my hair come out smoother when blowdrying and flatironing. I heard that the Keratin treatment is good, but I don't want to lose my curls---just want to straighten it when I want.

  7. I found it at Meijer in Michigan for $10.99. In fact I have the first step in my hair as I type this. So far so good. Time to wash out.

  8. I tried the product and it works fairly well. I does smell pretty bad though. I have extrememly curly hair and it never stays straight for more than a couple of hours. I put the first step on for about 25 mins and could see the different. My curls were becoming much looser. the first step does leave your hair pretty hard, but it softens after the second step and blowdrying it. I did still put some serum on it just in case. It was pretty straight after I was finished blow drying. the next day it was straight and soft. My only complaint is it does not protect from humidity very well. Don't think that you can use it and just go outside in the rain and it will be ok. I will let you know how it works after the next shampoo.

  11. I am a cosmotologist... And these crazy things that some of the non salon brands come out and sell kill me! If the product smells like eggs... It most likely has the same solution in it that a perm does, just very diluted I would imagine. I am sure it's definently not good for your hair, and honestly there really isn't a product that will ever be a product that will work like this 7day blow dry system says it does. Try not to fall for these types of products. If you want tips on how to manage frizz... Consult your stylist!

  12. i have a degree for cosmotology from an excellent college and i do my research this product will not damage your hair and it DOES work ,Garnier has been around for over 50 years .longer than some salon brands, what makes a salon brand any better? if you study the ingredients ,you will find they are the same as non-salon brands you are just paying for an image and name
and why pay more to go to the salon when you can get the same results at home?? in this day and age we want to save money

  13. I used this product today and I would not recommend it. I think it is perm solution (whatever that is) at least that's what it smells like and that's what my scalp feels like. I had red highlights put in my hair about a month ago and this product completely stripped it all out!! It said I could use it after two weeks of having coloring done...apparently not. Now my hair stinks, my scalp burns slightly, and my hair has dirty orange highlights. It said I can't color my hair for two weeks after use so now I've gotta walk around with this awful color. Ugh!!!!!!!

  14. This product will not be on the market long ... they will have too many complaints.

    MY HAIR IS DESTROYED!!!!!

This product is not good for bleached blonde hair. My 12 inch long hair is breaking in big chunks to about 3 inches. I do not recommend this product!!!!!

Garnier is not very responsive when you call. They practically blamed me for not following the directions which I followed perfectly.

  16. I have naturally very thick coarse frizzy curly hair that I have been growing out for 2 years and is now 6" below my shoulders if I pull the hair straight. I have learned to really love my curls as long as I can keep the frizz down and have used several of the
Fructis curl and leave in conditioning products with much success but I still have very tight curls. I tried this product trying to straighten it. It straightened it (with blowdry and straightening iron) but being soooo thick it was just a big mass of straight bushy hair. No that was not what I wanted. So I decided to just wet it under water and use my Fructis curls and shine, thermo curls spray and let it pretty much air dry while I was outside (its very windy and very cold out) and WOW.....I have a head of luscious frizz free big loose curls with just enough curl to make it sexy but very manageable. I LOVE the results. The amazing thing is my hair which is very dry and brittle and was color treated 4 days ago and has been regularly color treated over the past several years (with Garnier Belle color) is now very soft and shiny. It did take a very slight bit of the color out where there is some hard to color gray but I have very hard to color gray spots peeking through so it did not surprise me. Time will tell at how it works over the long term. Yes the first part of the kit did smell very sulfery (rotten egg smell) and strong and I found bearable but the second took most of the odor away. It did not burn my scalp and I found very easy to use. If this is the results I am going to get I plan on using this product for awhile.....
