Minx nails!!! Have you heard about how awesome they are???

Sooo don;t we all hate waiting for our nails to dry and then they just end up chipping the next day??? I hate this so there is a solution and its super hot and all the stars are already wearing it !!

"MINX MANICURE is a  fav among celebs like Fergie, Rihanna and Lady Gaga, Minx is a vinyl coating applied by professional Minx manicurists using pressure and heat.  The coating molds itself to your natural nails (or artificial ones), without harsh chemicals and can be easily removed."
I love that it doesnt use any harsh chemicals!! And it comes it like hundreds of colors and designs!!Also no drying time ladies!!!!!!!!!! WOW!

here have a look !!

Im telling you ,you can never get your nails to look this good and perfect with regular old polish!!

There are only a few nail salons and spas offering this service at the moment and i found one and i think im going to book myself an appointment its only $35! Also its suppose to last one to three weeks!!Wayyy longer than polish! I will let you know how it goes and post some pics!

here is the site to search for a salon to get it done

All about eyelashes you could ever want to know!

Today im going to tell you about false lashes,i totally love them and if you tried them i bet you would too and i will let you know some simple techniques on how to apply them!
I usually wear them for special occassions or when i really want my eyes to pop! Some people are scared of them ,but they shouldn;t they are really easy to apply and you can get ones that look more natural. If you go to shoppers drug mart they have some great ones there,or if you want to splurge Mac also has a great selection!
You can reuse them on yourself many times ,just not on anyone else for sanitary reasons.
I think the Quo ones work just fine and even the Ardene  if you can buy a pack that has glue included even better!

Ok so here are the simple step to apply them ,make sure they are the right size for your eyes ,and cut if needed. I like to put on mascara before hand so do this now.

Then take some glue and put it on your hand, run the lashes through the glue and try to put a bit extra on the edges, because if they come lose those are spots that usually need more.Wait about 10 seconds for it to get tacky then stick it  on your lash line ,hold for about 10 seconds then push on with the tip of a makeup brush or even tweezers,.Dont overthink this step, jus stick them on quickly :) then thats its your done.Just make sure they are both lined up equally ,if not u can take them off and reapply. To remove just slowly peel from the inner corner.

You can try lash extensions, they are a bit more costly ,but can last over a month and you will never need to even wear mascara! They take about an hour or so to apply and you must sit with your eyes closed the whole time. Then to upkeep them they need to be filled. The cost can range anywhere from $100 to$ 300 depending on where you go and how many lashes are applied. Most upscale spas and salons are now offering this service.

One more thing if both these things scare you,i have just heard great things about RAPIDLASH ($60 at shoppers) it uses a combination of amino acids and vitamins to grow more lashes.

Ingrown hairs ?? How do we rid of these annoying things!!

Ok ladies face it we have all had to deal with ingrowns and the worst for me is in the bikini area!! Soo how do we prevent and deal with them ??

Well first off let me explain what exactly they are first ,it's a condition where the hair curls back or grows sideways into the skin.It may or may not be accompanied by an infection of the hair follicle or "razor bumps",you know those nasty red ,itchy bumps!!

Well first off let me tell you some good easy ways to prevent them .First i think one of the easy things that most people don't take the time to do or jus plain forget,is to EXFOLLIATE! Its not just great for your face but your whole damn body! You should do this about 2-3 times a week if possible and could even make your own at home if u run out!
What exfolliating does is get rid of any dead skin that could block the new hair from coming up,it also gives the skin a nice glow and softness!
Here are a few scrubs that i enjoy from some of my fav companies i want to share with you,

This is from www.lush.ca ,i love this one ,its natural and full or sea salt and i like the bottle it comes in soo handy for the shower!

This one is also amazing and its on sale now for only $15!! Wow and it smells soo yummy and is organic!

Okay soo back to what to do if you already have them???Well once there there you can try to put a hot cloth on them to calm them down and soften them and force the hair out,use a good pair of slant tweezers and gently get it out. If you can't see the hair and its just to hard to get out,try some of these products which i have used and can work quite well

I do have to tell you it does sting when applied ,but if it prevents those nasty bumps im all for it!!

Ohh also if you cant afford this stuff you can make your own at home with this simple recipe!
What you need:

Uncoated aspirin
70% alcohol
Witch Hazel
A measuring cup/bottle
2 bottles used to shake mixtures
1 8oz or more bottle/container to keep finished product

What you do:

1. Pour 5.5oz of 70% alcohol into one bottle.
2. Drop 18 uncoated aspirins into the alcohol. Cap bottle and shake.
3. Pour 2.5oz of witch hazel into the second bottle.
4. Drop 8 uncoated aspirins into the witch hazel. Cap bottle and shake.
5. Wait awhile (30 minutes to a whole day) for the aspirins to dissolve in the liquids. Shake periodically to help dissolve aspirin and mix. NOTE: not all of the aspirin will dissolve. That’s ok- some of it never will.
6. Now combine both the alcohol and witch hazel mixtures together into one bottle. Make sure you shake it up before you pour them out so you also get the aspirin residue into the new bottle.

This last bottle is your Tendskin! Use 1-2 a day. Reduce usage if you experience dryness or flaking or irritation. DO NOT USE IF YOU ARE ALLERGIC
TO ASPIRIN. Make sure you shake it well before each use.

Oh one more thing if you do shave always shave in the direction of growth and new clean 5 blade razors work best and use a good shaving gel!!And i prefer waxing if possible or sugaring (more natural) ,go to the spa for this because if you dont know what your doing at home it can be a diaster hehe
