HOT FALL FASHIONS :)

Soooo since Fall is just around the corner,i figured why not have a few fun posts about some hot fashions.Since this is a BEAUTY blog i think fashion should be included . So for the next couple of days i will post about my new buys.

I love Mary and Guido jeans they have  to be the MOST comfortable jeans EVER ,  http://www.guidoandmary.com/  and they are worth every penny and will last you years as they are so well made.

Here i am wearing a darker jean which is totally in for fall.

I also love that they are a canadian company from Montreal.

In this outfit im wearing them paired with a  peacock print shirt from YDE which is a great clothing line that can be purchased at http://www.jeanmachine.com/.

What i like about the staff at jean machine is they help you find the perfect fit and are totally honest with you about what suits your body type.Joy at the Limeridge mall location in Hamilton,Ontario was such a great help.

Peacock print is the new trend and i am in love with it. I paired my outfit with a pair of black heels.Oh and black nail polish with sparkles of course.

Have you been shopping in Jean Machine lately ? It really does have great up to date fashions and is worth a look.

HD nail polish is it really all that?

So i was at Walmart today and this Sally Hansen polish caught my eye so i decided to buy one to test it out since it was under $5.00.

 

I guess its the sparkles that make it look HD ??  I usually buy more high quality polish so i did find it was thick to apply and it takes forever to dry!!The color i bought is called LASER because well i love anything blue.

Will i buy it again? nope ,i prefer other brands  more ,but it is fun for a change.Also i do like the fact that sally hansen does NOT contain -Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP), Formaldehyde and Toluene.

Have you tried it any opinion?

More Natural Deodorant choices

Its something we wear everyday and don't really think about right? We just don't want to be stinky haha

But have you thought about what is in your under arm stick??Well a lot of them tend to contain a whole host of best-to-avoid substances including hormone disruptors, petrochemicals, lung irritants and other suspect ingredients. Usually if you can't pronounce it or have no idea what it is,best to not use it.

If you do a google search you will also find tons of links that say deodorant may even cause breast cancer or Alzheimers ,now this has not been proven,but what if it is true??? I think its better to try a more natural approach.

So in this post i will review some of the ones i like and also use -

It comes in unscented and a few fun smells like patchouli and lavender.Retails about $6.00

Morning ladies ,hope your all enjoying the long weekend, i sure am,i got to work a super fun photo shoot in Toronto yesterday.I got to do super bright  makeup on some lovely models wearing couture dresses,with some fantastic artwork. I will post the pictures in few weeks when they are done editing.

Today i want to review a product from got2b. Just to let you know they are made by Schwarzkopf which is a high quality brand that started off in salons. 

The product is called smooth operator .It contains cashmere,and is a smoothing LUSTRE LOTION.It is for touchable style and also contains  a UV protectant and protects against damage from heat styling.

So what did i think of it after using it ?Well first off it has a nice mild almost berry like smell which is pleasant.It has a thinner consistency and i like that it comes in a pump format so its easy to dispense the right amount. I used it on dry hair It absorbed in very nicely and it did what it said .It did make it look more smooth and i felt it was more soft.

So i think i will keep using this excellent product as my hair is dry and bleached and it sure needs some help.One more thing i like about the packaging is the cute little trinkets on it .Retail about $8.99

Another SUPER COOL FREE app is  iOPI-It helps you choose a cool nail color!!

You can browse and search over 200 OPI Nail Lacquer shades right from your iPhone or iPod Touch. You can even virtually try on colors by customizing the screen to match your skin tone. The feature is supposed to more closely represent how any given nail color will look on you. This ability to customize the app to your tastes is certainly an appealing feature, but this kind of “try before you buy” approach is limited by the companies ability to accurately capture YOUR individual skin tone.

 Now i also came across this one which im sorry but i think is a waste of $3.00 hahaha who thinks of these things !

Vanity Iphone app-well this one rates your looks on  scale of one to ten! Not sure how accurate it is,and everyones idea of beauty is totally different!
