Why use Sulfate free shampoo ??? Read why here

Just what are sulfates and why are they a problem?

You will find it in the shampoo’s ingredient listed as sodium laureth sulfate (SLES) and sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) which are in fact really a harsh chemical surfactants that are found in lots of other products including toothpaste. They are known to cause eye and skin irritation plus when you use shampoo that contains these ingredients they can be absorbed through the skin.

Did you know that sulfates are really far from being gentle and can be causing damage on the very thing you are trying to protect? Yes your beautiful hair ladies !

Sulfates are very drying and can damage hair follicles which could lead to hair loss. All because we really enjoy our amazing lather while washing our hair. It can also strip the hair and scalp of essential oils causing that drying effect. Worse if you are spending lots of money to color your hair, it causes the color to fade quicker so you have to get your hair colored more often.Who wants that?

So today im going to review a GREAT sulfate free Shampoo and Conditioner from L'oreal
I got it in this box and it also came with a leave in conditioner that i loved

Here is my review of it- I adore the strong scent of Rosemary and Juniper, because i love essential oils, but it may not be for everyone if you do not like to strong a scent.(but just remember this is coming from natural plant extracts not fake perfumes).
I felt it cleaned my hair well and i used the masque and it made my hair very soft and  i also felt my color was a bit brighter.I  didn't have to use as much shampoo a little went a long way it does not suds up as much as a normal shampoo, but i don't mind that at all.
I also adore that its a VEGAN product!!My hair felt great after using this product and its something i will keep using to keep my color looking fresh.

They are going to cost a bit more than your normal shampoos do because of their ingredients.(retails about $10.00 to $12.00 per product) So don’t be surprised at that, but you will in fact use less to cleanse your hair and your hair will be better over all. Isn’t that worth a extra few dollars? And they are still way less than the ones they sell at the salon. Your hair will love you for it i promise!

Will you try to go sulfate free ?

  1. I did try sulfate-free once and I hated it. I bought some expesve stuff and it didn't lather at all. My hair felt really greasy afterwards. Maybe there was something wrong with that bottle!? I would be willing to try it again, as I'm really into less chemicals!

  3. The price on these always holds me back... such little bottles....I am using Tresemme Naturals and they work magic! I never had my hair fell so clean and soft. I think the shampoo has lower sulfates and the conditioner doesn't have any silicones. This line really surprised me!

  5. i love this product. i feel that it's a thick formula and works very well. just the right amount of lather, actually. no greasy feeling, a little goes a long way, and my hair is the softest it's been in ages.
